Traditional Metalwork for Heritage

As part of our ongoing development, we are currently building a floating blacksmith's shop- The Restless Forge.

The forge will be a fixture of the canal and river network of the Midlands and South of England, upon an old working narrowboat called Murphy's Game.

Work on construction began in late 2024, after a year of travelling from Manchester to Banbury, and not a little TLC to the hull along the way. The aim is to provide a facility to carry out small design and build projects for our conservation work, as well as a base from which to run teaching and experience days.
